The MTE bottom dumper trailer, also known as a bottom dump trailer or belly dump trailer, is a specialized type of heavy-duty trailer designed for the efficient transport and unloading of bulk materials such as sand, gravel, asphalt, and other aggregates. This trailer features a unique design where the cargo is discharged through doors or gates located at the bottom of the trailer, rather than being tipped from the rear or side. Unlike tipper trailers, bottom dump trailers do not need to tilt or raise the trailer body for unloading. This reduces the risk of tipping over, especially on uneven or unstable ground, enhancing safety during the unloading process.
